A SHORT WORK WEEK....
Because Alyssa and Emsley and Cheslea Victoria came into town!  We were so excited to have them come......and we would only get to spend 2 days with them before leaving on our cruise so we decided to take the two days 'off' so we could spend some quality time with them!

Sunday we had the missionaries over for dinner after church.  It was fun to have them over.  They seem to be great missionaries.

And can you believe it......we 'found' a NEW FAVORITE ICE CREAM right here in good ole' America!  It may not be our Finnish Ice Cream that we have come to love and enjoy but it is awfully close!  Never had VANILLA PISTACHIO ice cream before.  I will definitely have it again!

It seems that I don't have a lot of time for much but I did make it to a BRIDAL SHOWER on Tuesday evening for Errin!  She is just the cutest little bride-to-be isn't she.  It was a fun Pampered Chef Bridal Shower.  Very cleaver way to have a fun event.
Back at the office on Wednesday, Devon and I were working on a project for our upcoming CONFERENCE that will be held next week while we are gone.  We so wish we could be there.  This cruise was scheduled before we got our call to serve in this mission.  We were given permission to go ahead with our plans.
On Wednesday afternoon we met the Monocacy Ward at the Temple so we could help with a baptismal assignment they had.  It was so fun to be there......and especially since we had 3 of our handsome grandsons involved with this.  What a blessing to be able to be there with them!  Can't believe how short I am next to them.....how did that happen!
And then the arrival of Alyssa and the girls!  It was so nice to have them right here in our very own home again.  It has been about 3 years since we have had them here......
We had a family dinner at Jonathan's and Tina's home.  Alyssa asked me to make some HOMEMADE COLESLAW!!!  I was so happy she wanted some.....of course I made it for her.  Unfortunately we did not have Tina (she was at girls camp this week) and Elinn (she was still visiting her family in Utah until Saturday night).  We missed them and look forward to their return!
A lot of good food.....got to love those SODAS!
SHOPPING, EATING, VISITING and just fun hanging out together.  We LOVE our family!
SO....the next post will be from the Alaskan Cruise we will be going on!  Stay tuned!!  :-)
