INTERESTING DAY AT THE OFFICE....

When Chuck is away.....the office goes to the 'dogs'!  Jefferson just climbed right up there in Chuck's chair and seemed to 'take over'!  Just like he knew what he was doing!!

 Wayne and I 'worked from home' on Wednesday.  It was Elinn's birthday and Steven and Elinn went to New York to see WICKED in the theater.  We were at home to watch their 5 kids.  I took that as an 'opportunity' to do some grandma baking!!  Love being home and being able to bake in our new kitchen.

 After making WHOOPIE PIES and PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES and FINNISH GINGERBREAD COOKIES it was time for the kids to come home from school and dinner time.  Got a shot of them all sitting at the bar and enjoying their corn dogs and mac and cheese.

 Within about 5 minutes of taking that picture of them at the bar all of the POWER went out...in ALL of Brunswick.  Weird.....don't know what happened.

 We have PLENTY of candles all over the house......so I just started lighting them.....

 It was quite cozy and calming and relaxing to have NO power for a bit.....

After about 2 hours it came back on......we have had a ton of rain today....don't know if that had anything to do with the power outage or not.  We are 'told' that it should start SNOWING about midnight tonight.  We will see.  I feels too warm to snow.  But, hey, we have been in Finland for the past 2 winters so what do we know!!
