BRUNSWICK VETERAN'S DAY PARADE
79TH ANNUAL
This was the day for the Annual Parade. It was a beautiful, fall, crisp day for the event. And for the past 79 years Brunswick has had the LARGEST Veteran's Day Parade in the entire state of Maryland.
Wayne had been asked to give the Invocation. That was a real honor for him to have been asked to do that. He was happy he could do that. Having served as a Navy Physician during the end of the Viet Nam War, he served his country during that time (stationed in Guam).
We had prime seats on the stand right behind the podium. We were told to sit close by so Wayne could get there easily.
There were over 200 entries in the parade this year. And it started out with the Drum and Bugle Core from Virginia. They were very good.
Really liked this one.
I guess NO parade is complete without SANTA (aka Bob Ward). Even the VETERAN'S Day Parade.
I was impressed how well this little dog did during some parts that were a little noisier than others. He just sat right there and watched!
It was a wonderful PARADE. A part of being back home in the USA I guess.....and being back in Brunswick!
