WHERE ONE 'LIFE ADVENTURE' ENDS
ANOTHER
'LIFE ADVENTURE' BEGINS!
And so it was......as we returned home from our wonderful Full-Time-Mission as Temple Missionaries in the Helsinki Finland Temple, we knew we were about to embark on yet another wonderful adventure. This one promises to be very, very different.
Having injured my foot 2 days before leaving Finland (getting on a local bus to go downtown Helsinki) it became very quickly evident to me that I was NOT going to get around the airports and our journey back home easily on my own. Good thing I 'gave in' and decided to listen to my companion and use that wheelchair or we never would have made our connection at Heathrow Airport in London!
What a wonderful greeting it was to have so many of our children and grandchildren there to greet us! We were so grateful they were able to join in our celebrating returning home to America and our home in Brunswick!! We love our family! We feel so blessed.
In the coming pages of this blog, there will be snippets of our 'getting back to normal' upon our return and the embarking of our 'new mission' here in America.....namely in Alexandria, Virginia.
